Point earning and redemption rules

Point rules live under Loyalty card → Point settings.

Earning

Pick one of three formulas:

  • By amount — €1 = N points. With €1 = 1 point a €50 purchase gives 50 points.
  • By product — different items give different points. Useful when margins vary a lot.
  • By visit — points for showing up, regardless of the amount spent.

Redemption

  • Minimum amount — the smallest balance that may be spent (for example 100 points).
  • Maximum share — how much of a purchase points may cover (for example 50%).
  • Conversion rate — what points are worth (for example 100 points = €1).

Expiry

Decide how long unused points stay valid. A deadline brings customers back, but too short a one annoys them — twelve months is the usual choice.

Changes apply to new transactions; points already earned are not recalculated.
