Product catalogue and import

The catalogue serves two purposes: building a basket in the staff app and awarding points per specific item.

A new product

Under Products click "+ Add product" and fill in:

• Basics — name and description.
• Pricing — price and VAT.
• Identification — barcode and SKU. The barcode is what makes the item scannable at the till.
• Categories — how items are grouped in the app.
• Photo — square, on a light background.
• Status and visibility — whether the item is active and shown to customers.

Bulk import

To move a whole catalogue use Import: download the Excel template, fill it in and upload. Items are matched by barcode or SKU, so re-uploading updates existing products instead of creating duplicates.

The catalogue can also be exported — handy before a large price review.
