Offers and coupons

Coupons come from an offer — create the offer first, then generate coupons for it.

Creating an offer

Under Offers set the name, the shop, the discount type (percentage, fixed amount or gift), the value and the validity period. Optionally narrow it down by products or by customer segment.

Generating coupons

• Automatic — switch on automatic generation in the offer and coupons are created for customers who match the conditions.
• Manual — open the offer, click "Generate coupons" and set the quantity, code format (e.g. SUMMER-XXXX), validity and whether to assign them to customers right away.

Every coupon carries a code, a QR code and a barcode — any of them works at the till.

Statuses

Active — valid. Used — already redeemed. Expired — past its date. Cancelled — stopped manually.

A cancelled coupon stops working instantly, so coupons sent out by mistake can be pulled without waiting for them to expire.
